15 Craigside Highlights

Honolulu Arts Beat is still out to raise $2500 by March 15 to keep the Beat Going and Growing. Thanks to our Angels listed below, we are at the $800 mark. Hopefully more much needed help in the form of dollars is on the way.
Attaining that goal assures arts coverage many of you have found entertaining, informative, and for some nearly indispensable.
It is our hope that donations will be sufficient to continue the high quality coverage that many have come to expect.

Saturday, January 28 saw the celebration of David Behlke’s “Aloha Ke Akua” stained glass installation in the solarium at 15 Craigside. Below are some photos of this wonderful work of art.
A large crowd attended Saturday’s ceremonies. The solarium is open for public viewing Wednesday mornings 9-11 am.
AHA in Trouble? Aloha Show Cancelled
The Association of Hawaii Artists at the present time is without a President as Kathy Bowers has resigned from the AHA. Corinne Gallardo-Mata has also resigned due to her busy schedule at work. Priscilla Hall has returned from London, but because of personal issues she could not chair the Aloha Show. Therefore, the AHA's Aloha Show at Honolulu Hale for 2012 has been cancelled. AHA will still be posting any other opportunities for artists to display their artwork.
